Job DescriptionThe immediate focus of this position is to gain a working knowledge of InfoExpress' three products to provide support to our existing customer base:
- Network Access Control (NAC) (CyberGatekeeper)
- Enterprise Desktop Firewall (CyberArmor)
- Remote Access VPN (VTCP)
Typical duties in this position include:
- Take incoming e-mail/telephone calls to support customer needs
- Research technologies related to customer issues to provide an informed response
- Dispatch issues to other SEs as required
- File and track feature requests/bug reports based on customer requirements
- Proactively contact large accounts to discuss outstanding issues
- Generate technotes to document common problems or illustrate new product uses
- Develop new plugins to enhance product functionality
- Document and extend existing testing procedures
- Install and test new versions as part of the QA process
- Help QA new tests developed externally
- Come up with new test ideas, based on research and customer feedback
- Perform pre-sales consulting and installation for InfoExpress products
- Travel to customer sites as needed (typically 15%-25% travel)
- Conduct online presentations/webcasts to potential customers
- Work closely with account executives throughout the sales process
Based on abilities and aptitude the successful candidate can expect to develop enough familiarity with these products to be able to work closely with the sales team and partners in pre-sales role where some travel will be required. Compensation is entry level but fair and in line with experience and ability to grow and move into the more customer facing roles.
